Project Background

This project emerges as a comprehensive response to the FrontendMentor challenge, skillfully translating a Figma design into a fully functional personal portfolio website. The front end is robust, offering users an optimal viewing experience and responsive layouts across various devices. Interactive elements boast intuitive hover states, enhancing user engagement. On the backend, a sophisticated server setup leverages Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, facilitating CRUD operations and storage of contact form submissions. Security measures, including Helmet and CORS configurations, fortify the backend infrastructure. The website uses HTML, CSS, TailwindCSS, Typescript, React.js, Formik, Next.js, and various backend technologies like Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Multer, Helmet, Morgan, and Eslint. Notably, the project goes beyond visual appeal, achieving a flawless 100% score in Chrome Lighthouse metrics for performance, best practices, accessibility, and SEO. The 5-page website encompasses over 15 screens, offering a comprehensive showcase of the developer's skills and adherence to industry standards. The meticulous integration of an email contact form, with input validation and API interactions, adds a practical dimension to the user experience.
